Chicken Kofta Curry is a flavorful and comforting dish made with tender chicken meatballs simmered in a rich, spiced gravy. Ingredients
For Kofta: (Meatballs)
- 1.5-2lb Chicken Keema
- 1/4 cup Fresh Mint
- 4-5 Green chilies
- 1/4 cup Cilantro
- 1tbsp Chopped Ginger
- 1tbsp Chopped garlic
- 1.5 tsp Garam masala
- 1.5 tsp Cumin powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup onion
- 2tbsp besan
- salt to taste
For the curry:
- 3tbsp Ghee + 1/4 cup oil
- 1 cup onion chopped
- 1.5 tsp Ginger paste
- 1.5 tsp garlic paste
- 1 cup Tomato Puree
- 2tsp Turmeric powder
- 2tsp Cumin powder
- 2tsp Coriander powder
- 2tsp paprika
- 1.5 tsp red chili powder (cayenne pepper)
- 1/3 Cup Yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 2 medium potatoes cut in cubes
- 1/2 cup water
Whole spices
- 2-3 Cardamom
- 1 Cinnamon
- 3-4 Clove
- 4-5 Black pepper
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
Garnish:
- Green chilies
- Cilantro
- Pinch of garam masala powder
