This nutrient-dense shake is an ideal choice for Suhoor or a refreshing way to break your fast at Iftar. Packed with the natural energy of Medjool dates and the healthy fats of walnuts and avocado, it provides the sustained stamina you need during Ramadan without feeling overly heavy.
Ingredients
- 4 Large Medjool dates (pitted)
- 4 Whole walnuts
- 1 Medium banana
- 1/2 Avocado (optional, for extra creaminess and healthy fats)
- 2 tsp Rolled oats
- 1 tsp Gold Swarm Honey
- Liquid Base: Milk and water as needed to reach your desired consistency
Directions
- Pit your Medjool dates. If they are a bit firm, soak them in a little warm water for 5 minutes, this ensures a perfectly smooth shake.
- Add the dates, walnuts, banana, avocado, oats, and honey into your blender.
- Start with about 1/2 cup of milk and a splash of water.
- Blend on high until the walnuts and dates are fully incorporated and the texture is velvety.
- If you prefer a thinner consistency for Iftar, add a bit more water or milk and pulse again.
